My name is Marty Garrett, and I build and host websites. This is probably not big news to you because thousands of people build websites. Let's be honest, with today's technology almost anyone can do it. It doesn't require a lot of skill to use standard templates and cookie cutter graphics to get a website up and running. I'll admit that doing that is not difficult for most people willing to put in the time and effort. The fact that anyone can do it is not really the issue.
The issue is that once you are up and running, what have you really got? A standard cookie cutter website template? If that's all you want then you probably don't need to read any further, but if you understand that it takes much more than that to make a positive difference in your business, then you may wish to continue reading.
There are many web building programs for people to use. You may have seen them on Television. I'm not knocking those programs, but I will point out that what you'll receive from them in most cases is a minimal basic site like the one I described. They won't take the time necessary to develop a quality relationship with you, find out about your specific needs, and then create a website from the ground up that effectively features your information. Quality relationships require time and two-way communication. Many of those companies focus on how fast they can get you up and running, instead of what is really important. That is, will what they build for you do what you need it to do? In my opinion this is the only thing of any real importance.
They also claim to build your site for free. I don't do that. I charge for the work that I do. I don't charge a lot but I do charge. To be honest I have little confidence in those who claim to do it for free. They also claim to optimize your site for search engine placement so millions of people will find you and to continue this service as long as they host your website. As someone who performs this service everyday for several companies, I can testify that this is a very time-consuming process. I have serious doubts they will invest the necessary manpower for a website they build for free.

What I can guarantee you is that my experience lies in the ability to look at your informational content, ideas, and goals, and integrate them into a concept that will achieve much more than just having a website. Trust me when I tell you there is no glamour whatsoever in having a website unless it provides the solutions you seek.

What you'll notice about them is that although some of them are similar in some ways, for example, those that are for the same client, each of them are still driven by individual concept and designed to meet the particular need of each client. You may also notice that on some of the sites there are items normally seen on websites that have been intentionally excluded. This is because if a bell or whistle does not benefit what the client needs, then there is no need for it to be included in my opinion. Bells and whistles are pretty but they don't cause people to decide to use your product or service. Sensible content featuring good honest information does.
Some people may need something shiny and flashy for their site, and some just need something simple, and some need something somewhere in between, but regardless, they each need to have a well thought out concept that will give them something far beyond just being able to say they have a website. They need a working website that achieves their goals.
They need a SPECIFIC SITE!
